1877년에 설립된 RISD는 미국 동부 로드 아일랜드의 프로비던스에 위치하며, 자동차로 뉴욕시에서 북쪽으로 3시간, 보스턴에서

문화로 유명합니다. RISD 주변에는 아이비 리그인 브라운 대학을 비롯하여 4개의 대학교와 단과 대학이 있으며, RISD 학생은 별도의
수강료 없이 브라운 대학의 강의를 수강할 수 있습니다. 이 제도로 교과 과정을 확대하고 토론식 강의를 통해 시각을 넓히며 학습

. Portfolio 12~20개 작품
. 3개의 drawings samples은 포함 되야 함. 각 Each drawing은 16" x 20" 하얀 종이에 펜슬로 해야 하고,
다른 materials은 사용하지 않도록.
(작품 1은 a bicycle이어야 하고 ; 작품 2 는 an interior or exterior environment; 작품 3은 본인의 임의).

portfolio를 Slides 나 사진으로 Sample of art or design work,
free-hand drawing, 2/3 D 작품 in any media, or Written materials.
Graphic Design
20-40 slides 요구
Mac으로 (CD or DVD, or web source)제출 할 수 있음.
Interior Architecture
건축등 흥미 있는 것의 스케치와 Drawing의 freehand drawing 포함하여 준비

Landscape Architecture
2 년 program: 10-20 작품
3 년 program : 필수적이진 않지만 권장됨
Photography
이름과 번호가 선호 순으로 된 20 slides 또한 1 페이지의 이 작품에 대한 1페이지 Statement


Digital Media
Analog or digital form의 20개 slides와 CD or DVD of interactive work,
a list of URLs and/or a 10-minute video를 제출 할 수 있다.
다른 MFA, MID, Art Education
10-20 작품들 : MA in Museum Education Strand 은 요구되지 않으나 제출해도 됨.
Slides는 81/2 X 11 인치 plastic slide holder에 포장되야 함.
Title, medium, size, date가 기입된 설명서도 같이 제출해야 함.
